Maubois footpath

Starting from the Grand Site, this footpath winds its way through the Orgnac woodland and leads you into a preserved natural scrubland setting ... The walk, split into two circular routes each lasting 30 minutes or 1 hour, gives you the chance to get to know the area's rich natural heritage, as you take in the landscapes and surrounding local flora. The information boards found along the way draw your attention to a range of points of interest, bearing witness to the geological, karstological and human history of the Ronze plateau.

The Maubois footpath is suitable for all: it's easily accessible from the car park and relatively flat.
A free leaflet (in French) available on request from the Grand Site information desk will guide you all the way round.

Walk in Orgnac

The local association le Petit Patrimoine works all year long to restore and maintain Orgnac's local heritage. Ancient wash houses, chapels, and water cisterns are once again visible.
Five different pathways are shown on the map below. It’s an opportunity to discover these once hidden gems that the work of the volunteers of the association Petit Patrimoine have restored. Come and enjoy our local landscape and history restored to their ancient glory!
