A wonderful way to do this is by confronting children
with nature, basic raw materials and an introduction
to scientific reasoning.
This is the goal of the Regional Museum of Prehistory.
We offer many varied activities: an active guided
visit of the museum; a ramble through an archaeological
site; technology workshops where children can practice
the skills of prehistoric man; hands-on practice in
the techniques of the archaeologist and the interpretation
of data.
A
visit to the Baume
de Ronze, a large cave inhabited by prehistoric
man since the Palaeolithic period, children discover
the habitation and natural environment of their ancestors.
